Athletics Champions 2015-with photos

Congratulations to our two athletics teams who have been competing in heats over the past couple of weeks

Our B team came third in their heat at Stanley last Tuesday evening whilst our A team won their heat against Churchtown and Norwood last Monday

The A team went forward to the final that was held at Stanley on 11/3/15 and the team performed brilliantly, winning the event convincingly despite being up against 5 other local schools. All of the children performed at their very best and their sportsmanship was exemplary.

 

The team now go forward to the Merseyside Indoor Athletics Final which will be held in Widnes on Friday 20th March 2015.

Thanks to everyone for their help with lifts and the great support at all of these events and we hope that some of you will be able to come next week too!
