Southport Soup Kitchen
We held 2 harvest assemblies on Thursday 23rd October to celebrate the kind donations that so many people have made for Southport Soup kitchen. Justin and Jill from the charity came to receive the donations from the children and we heard about the difference that the gifts will make to people in Southport.
The Soup kitchen provides not only a warm place for people to get a meal and some company, but it also donates bags of food to families in need. because of your kindness, they will be able to give some bumper presents in the next few weeks!
Children from Y5 helped load the food into the car after assembly. Justin and Jill asked us to pass on their thanks to everyone who has helped.
