Year 4 visit the Dutch Bakery
As part of Design and Technology Year 4 will be visiting the Dutch Bakery to make shortbread biscuits. They will learn about how baking is carried out in a local industry and how it contrasts to baking at home.
4/3 were the first class to visit and thoroughly enjoyed their visit. They all made their own biscuits and even brought some back for Mr Antell and Miss Gibbons. Many thanks to Derek and all his staff at the Bakery who made us very welcome. The children even enjoyed a treat of a drink and a freshly baked cake!
