Year 5&6 Cross Country
On Wednesday 16th March we took 17 year 5 & 6 children over to Litherland Sports Park to compete in a Cross Country Competition, There were schools from all over Merseyside. The team showed fantastic team spirit cheering each other on throughout the race, and congratulating team members as they crossed the finish line. I would like to congratulate the whole team for their efforts in a tough competition. We had a good Year 5 boys team, taking 7 in total. 4 of the boys combined places managed a team prize and came 3rd overall, giving them a bronze medal each! Well done to Rhys Graham, Arthur Weights, Ivo Melyov and Edward Sandys.
