Learning From Home
Our school will use a range of resources to support children who have to learn at home. These may be used for homework in normal schools times or for quarantine learning.
We will use these resources a single child has to quarantine as well as if a whole class is told to stay at home for a period. We will continue to communicate with Class Dojo.
Remember, we don't want to set work when children are ill. This is to support learning from home when pupils are fit and able to learn.
We plan to use Google Classroom as our main resource because it will allow children who are at home to have the same opportunities as children who are at school.
Google Classroom is freely available from any device that can access the internet.

Google Classroom
Google Classroom is an online learning tool that will allow your child's teacher to provide the same opportunities at home as when they are in school.
- All children have an email address and password to give them access to the Google Classroom
- The children have had some training in school to get them started on Google Classroom. We will keep developing this as the weeks and months progress
- This link will give you an idea of how to access Google Classroom at home. It is not created by us, so if you have questions, please direct them to your child's teacher and not the email on the presentation!

Purple Mash
Sometimes we may use the online learning platform called Purple Mash for work. Again, your child has a logon for this platform and it can be accessed from the link below.
Sumdog
We use Sumdog for maths homework at times. All children have a login for this package and it can be accessed on this link.
Times Table Rockstars
We sometimes use Timestable Rockstars to help children learn their tables. The link for this can be found below.
