Science

In the Autumn term, we have learnt about the Human Skeleton and used our knowledge of our bones to create our own skeletons.

In the Spring term we learnt all about light and how this can effect how much we can see. We explored how adding more holes to allow more light into a cardboard box can enable us to see more. We also discussed the impact darkness has on our ability to see and how shadows are caused.

In our summer term we have been learning about rocks and soils. We have investigated how durable and permeable different rocks are. We have also identified the different types of natural rock. When learning about soil we tested the quality of different types of soil and recorded our results. We then also learnt about the different parts to Earth, through different layers of food.
