Friction

In this lesson, we carried out an investigation to find out which surface has the most friction.

Properties and Changing Materials

In this lesson, we looked at irreversible changes. The children made samples of 'lemonade' using water, lemon juice, sugar and baking soda. The baking soda reacted with the lemon to make the fizz and the children could taste the difference before and after.

We used our knowledge of solids, liquids and gases to decide how mixtures and solutions might be separated.

Today we looked at how some materials will dissolve in liquid to form a solution.
