Leah and Louis from our School Council attended a Southport School Council event at Christ the King on Friday 18th October 2013. The children joined pupils from across the town to talk to representatives from our local community about how our area could be improved. Leaders from the local police, environmental services, health, leisure, media were joined by John Pugh MP. The guests have been invited back to a meeting in July to tell us what they have done as a result of the pupil input. Well done to our pupils who represented our school brilliantly!
Mrs Lowery is tarting a "Times Table" club on Wednesday lunchtimes after half term. If you feel your child would benefit from this club, please encourage them to take part.
The children have spent World War Two Day dressed as an evacuee. They learnt all about rationing and made their own ration book along with a gas mask, sugar butties and a dance class! Today they have visited Greenbank where they learnt all about the story of Anne Frank! Great fun playing on the tablets too!
As part of their Design Technology topic this term, 5/1 enjoyed a visit to Leyland Trucks!
