Our school decided to go home barefoot today to support the charity Sal's Shoes who donate used shoes to children in more needier countries.
School across Southport are taking part in this appeal throughout the week and we hope to collect thousands of pairs of shoes that children elsewhere can use for their own trip to school each day.
Our school community responded fantastically and the pictures below shoe many of our children ending their school year barefoot as a sign of support for children in other parts of the World who have so little.
Thank you to everyone who supported this appeal.

FRJS had a new headteacher on Friday as Page took over following her recent election.
Fidget spinners and Jo-Jo Bows were everywhere as the school rules were changed for one day only.
The pupils had a choice of lessons after lunch, they had an additional playtime and ice pops went to everyone!
Congratulations to Page on her big success!
