• Y6 Children at Kings Gardens

  Children from the gardening club were invited to work on a project, to improve King's Gardens, Southport.

   

  They have been planting this season's plants; begonias, geraniums and salvia.  You can admire their colourful display, along the  Promenade, opposite The Clifton Hotel.

   

  They have also been keeping the new play area tidy, by picking litter.

  The children were given parts of the class novel we are reading, Fantastic Mr Fox and had to create a freeze frame to represent that part of the story.

• Cricket tournament

  A massive well done to the girl's cricket team, who played their first competitive matches today. They played tremendously well in the tournament against tough opposition. They won both of their group games but came undone in the semi final against a strong Shoreside team, losing by only 5 runs. I am extremely proud of your efforts girls, quality work! Mr Todd.
