Black History Month 2023
In the UK, Black History Month happens every October.
It gives everyone the opportunity to share, celebrate and understand the impact of black heritage and culture.
People from African and Caribbean backgrounds have played a huge part in British history but sometimes this has been overlooked.
Children across the school have been looking at important historical characters. Some you will know and some may be new to you.
One of our children has even added a story to YouTube. We checked with his family before sharing to make sure he keeps safe online.
