Merseyside Athletics Champions 2015

Farnborough Road won the Merseyside Indoor Athletics Competition on 20th March 2015 for the first time in the school's history.

The team beat teams from across the county in a fabulous performance, winning the prestigious event by nearly 40 points from defending champions Legh Vale from St Helens.

The event was won in the field, with the team winning 5 of the 12 events and coming second in 5 others. The team also won the competition for best boy and girl teams on the day, with the girls 4 points ahead of second and the boys 6 ahead of their nearest rivals.

Organisers believe that the team total of 660 points is currently the best team score in the country for this age group in 2015.
