We have marked the 100 Year commemoration since World War 1 ended in a number of ways.
Use the links below to take you to the various activities that have taken place.
Children from both schools marked the event together on the playground in front of our amazing poppy memorial. They listened in silence to The Last Post.

We stayed silent to show our respect to those who have given so much for us. We remembered members of our own families who we have lost.
Some of our children joined with other Southport schools at St Cuthbert's Church in Churchtown for a special community event.

Some of our children have been to Byng House. As part of The Royal British Legion ThankYou100 Campaign for remembrance, we visited The Royal British Legion's Byng House in Southport. For part of the campaign Byng House has been displaying some of the work completed by children on WW1 from local schools.
