Friday saw lots of changes at Farnborough Juniors as Taryn in Y6 became our Head for the Day following an election process involving all of the school.
Taryn visited all of the classes awarding prizes and head teacher's awards for good behaviour and hard work. She had a busy day meeting The Mayor of Sefton, touring prospective teacher trainee candidates around the school and holding a whole school assembly.
Taryn was an extremely popular choice with both pupils and staff. She put her promises into action during the day which saw the children having afternoon play, enjoying more football than usual and there are plans to watch a film next week whilst enjoying drinks and ice pops. She also kept the staff happy with biscuits and a new coffee maker.
Mr Antell needs to watch his back if he wants to keep his job; Taryn was amazing!
