Year 3/4 Tennis Tournament
Mr Tong took a team of Year 4 children to North Meols Tennis Centre on Wednesday. Georgia, Kai, Adam and Paige all played brilliantly, as it was some of their first tennis tournaments. The sun was shining, and the first game we played was against Norwood, which was very close, with a member of the group losing by 1 point, and another one drawing. The next game against Kew Woods was very well played, as we won convincingly and had to await the news as to whether we made the semi finals. Ultimately, we missed out by a point, but were allowed to play some friendlys whilst enjoying being outdoors in the sunshine. A great morning had by everyone involved, and the four children were all a credit to the school.
