London 2014 was fantastic!
On Wednesday 12th November we left FRJS at around 7:30am.
After a five hour journey we arrived at the Science museum in the centre of London. We had a look around, especially at the space exhibit and then went to watch a science show where Mr Antell became a human sandwich! Later on we got chance to experiment in the fantastic, interactive Launchpad area. We then headed off for dinner at Pizza Hut followed by a good night's rest at our Hostel.
The next day we were up early to go on a breathtaking ride upon the London Eye. We visited the 4D experience prior to our ride in order to get a grasp on the scale of the project. The coach then whisked us off to the Tower of London where we visited the poppy sculpture, crown jewels and learnt about the history of the famous fortress.
As the sun set we popped to the Rainforest Cafe for our tea before heading to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on stage. WOW! What a day!
On our final day we went on a coach tour of London, followed by a foot tour around Parliament Square, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, The Mall and Buckingham Palace.
The trip was a huge success. If you would like to read more please visit our blogs!
