Finch Farm

This morning 8 of our footballers took a visit to Finch Farm to represent Southport and Formby schools in the Merseyside finals. The weather was atrocious. We had high winds, rain, sleet, hail and snow!

Despite the conditions, the boys played extremely well. They came top in their group having won 3 games, drawn 2 and losing only 1 against some fantastic opposition.

This led them to a semi-final against St Josephs from Liverpool.

The boys were extremely unlucky to come away with a 1-0 defeat.

They should be very proud of their performance and to get so far is amazing.

Unfortunately no pictures with this post as we were not given permission by Everton Football club to take any.
