Hampers and Christmas Stars

As you will know, our School Council have been very busy.

They have organised Christmas hampers for 16 local care homes with the help of our local Rotary Club. Each hamper had lots of goodies along with the handmade Christmas stars which all of the children have been creating over the past couple of weeks.

Here are some pictures of the hampers and stars being delivered by our children to the care homes. The messages from the parents about how gratefully received they were, have been lovely.

Safely delivered, residents and staff were really grateful.

My child thoroughly enjoyed dropping the hamper off. It was particularly special for us, because out of the 16 hampers you put together, you chose the hamper for the care home which her great grandma lived in before she passed away. As a family we couldn’t believe it when we saw the address.

Hamper delivered safely. They were thrilled with it and there were some tears. Such a lovely thing to do.

My child dropping off the hamper at Westcliffe Manor today....they were very surprised and extremely grateful! Great work FRJS.

This was such a simple thing to do, yet so effective, and we have definitely spread some Christmas cheer around Southport!
