cross country 2019
Wed 27 Mar 2019On Wednesday 27th March 29 Year 5 & Year 6 children headed off to Blundellsands for the annual Cross country. All the children had been training for this since September so it was great to see so many of them wanting to compete. Every child competed with enthusiasm and determination, and followed it through with cheering their friends on as they competed. We had some fantastic results and ALL the children should be very proud of what they achieved. A special mention to those children who placed and received medals for a team place,In year 6 boys we came 3rd overall thanks to Charlie Ireland 5th, Hayden Siebert 11th, Rhys Bradshaw 13th and James Wright 39th. Year 6 girls was a very exciting race with Tianna Chambers being in the lead the entire way round , we came 2nd overall for Year 6 girls with thanks to Tianna Chambers 1st,Jasmine Kneen 3rd, Sienna Turner 19th and Ellie Mai Jones 27th. It was a great evening of running and look forward to the nexr race in May.

Athletics 2019
Wed 20 Mar 2019Congratulations to our Indoor Athletics team who came 5th in the Merseyside Finals on Wednesday.
Competing against 15 other schools from across the area, the standard was incredibly high. Our team did themselves proud, winning many races and really giving every effort.
Well done to everyone involved!

World Book Day 2019
Thu 07 Mar 2019What a fabulous day we've had celebrating World Book Day. All of the staff and children looked amazing in their costumes and we've taken lots of photographs to show you too.
During the day all of the children took part in a special Big Shared Read - they selected the book they'd like to listen to and then went to join the member of staff who read it to them.
We've also had a book swap with the books the children had brought in from home and lots of other book related activities.
Thank you to all the parents, children and staff for making it a day to remember!
