All the children dressed up as sports stars ranging from footballers and rugby players to horse riders, gymnasts and representatives from a variety of martial arts. All the children took part in a fun run and ran a distance of over 460 miles throughout the day - Well done everyone - a great team effort. Look out for photos on the class pages.

On Friday in Year 6 we had an Art Day. We took an object from our everyday life and recreated Andy Warhol's famous painting. We learnt about Andy Warhol's life and why he chose the iconic Campbell's Soup can. The Year 6 children had a fantastic day and worked really hard, they took their work to Praise Assembly as they were so proud! Even Mrs Ireland and Mrs Knight joined in creating a piece as well!
Apologies for the orientation issues with the pictures below. This is a specific issue with photos taken on some devices and we are unable to turn them the correct way.
Both the A and B teams took part at a tournament held at Greenbank yesterday. this was the first opportunity the girls have been given to play as a team. The girls were placed in the same Group and played against each other for their first match! Both teams played 6 games, the A team won 3, drew 2 and lost 1, only conceding one goal all day! The B team won 1, drew 1 and lost the remaining games. Both teams played superbly and were a credit to the school! The B team played all their games against A Teams, mainly made up of Year 6 children. Our B team is Year 5 girls and 2 Year 4 girls so they coped very well! Thanks to Isabelle McCarter for standing in as goalie at the last minute! Thank you to all the parents who helped with transport and for coming to support the girls. Special thanks to Mrs Kane for coaching the B Team on the day!
