  • A Team Start Their Season

    Sun 22 Sep 2013
The A Team began their new season against Norwood at a new home venue Birkdale High School. With a completely new squad (only Robbie Jackson played last season) it took time for the team to gel. As confidence grew, so did the quality of the passing by the team. During the second period Farmborough dominated play going close on a number of occasions. However it was Norwood who took the lead from a scrambled corner on the stroke of the end of the half. The final period saw Farnbrough pressing for a goal, our keeper Nathan hitting the cross bar and the posts rebounded to the teams shots before a long ball was struck in to the goal by Adam. A deserved draw for a very pleasing first outing for the team.
