Children in Need Day - Friday 17th November!
We are going with the theme, "Yellow is the new black!"
Children should come to school on Friday 17th November, wearing as much yellow clothing as they can - the more items the better!
How yellow can you go?! Hair could even be turned yellow in honour of Pudsey and all his hard work!
Pupils are to bring in a donation for wearing their yellow.
Poppies are on sale from the Office at break times for 50p.
Other items are also for sale at various prices.
Our school decided to go home barefoot today to support the charity Sal's Shoes who donate used shoes to children in more needier countries.
School across Southport are taking part in this appeal throughout the week and we hope to collect thousands of pairs of shoes that children elsewhere can use for their own trip to school each day.
Our school community responded fantastically and the pictures below shoe many of our children ending their school year barefoot as a sign of support for children in other parts of the World who have so little.
Thank you to everyone who supported this appeal.
