130 children enjoyed a brilliant sleepover at FRJS on Friday 19th May 2017.
Â
The children enjoyed an evening of activities, danced at a disco and sang songs around the camp fire before they settled down to watch a film in their sleeping bags.
Â
In the morning they had breakfast and a VERY early playtime before going home for some proper sleep!

What a great night!!
Greenall Cup Final 2017
The B team played at Haig Avenue (The Merseyrail Community Stadium), against Our Lady of Lourdes, to find the 2017 winners of the Greenall cup.
Both teams have been very closely matched all season, so this was always going to be a closely contested game. On the night, The B Team came away with a fabulous 3-1 victory. The team did exceptionally well and the match was played out in the right spirit by both teams.
Congratulations to the B team on a great victory and another good season.

We had a great day at Southport FC on Saturday when our school took over for the day!
Â
We had 4 mascots for the games, 16 children played on the pitch at half time and we had over 160 people from our school attending.
Â
Thanks to the generosity of Southport FC, we were presented with a cheque for nearly £400 as well!
Â
Even better, Southport scored a vital winner 10 minutes from the end to cap a brilliant day!
Â
Can we come again please?
Our school athletics team came a fabulous second in the Merseyside Indoor Athletics Competition for 2017.
Â
Competing against 13 other top teams from across Merseyside, the team performed really well, running, jumping and throwing to a very high standard.
Â
The winners were Legh Vale from St Helens with our school in a well deserved silver medal position.
Â
The school have come in the top two for the last 4 years - a very proud record!
Â
The programme for this event can be found on the attached link and it shows a proud record for our school!
