Yesterday and today we were lucky enough to have a visit from Ninja Warrior UK for schools. Jonny Urzuly, a previous winner, set up an assault course in the hall and challenged all children (and staff) to complete it. As well as this, Jonny presented an inspirational assembly for the children, about reaching goals and working towards challenges.
Every child got a signed photograph from Jonny and photos with him. What a fantastic way to kick off our School Sports Week!
Congratulations to our Indoor Athletics team who came 5th in the Merseyside Finals on Wednesday.
Competing against 15 other schools from across the area, the standard was incredibly high. Our team did themselves proud, winning many races and really giving every effort.
Well done to everyone involved!
What a fabulous day we've had celebrating World Book Day. All of the staff and children looked amazing in their costumes and we've taken lots of photographs to show you too.
During the day all of the children took part in a special Big Shared Read - they selected the book they'd like to listen to and then went to join the member of staff who read it to them.
We've also had a book swap with the books the children had brought in from home and lots of other book related activities.
Thank you to all the parents, children and staff for making it a day to remember!
Enjoy the pictures!
